Free Your Nervous System:

fascia release and nerve gliding

with Bella Dreizler

July 12, 2025, Noon-3:00PM

Nerves deliver your sensation, power your moves, regulate your breath and heart rate, digestion and blood pressure.  And really they do so much more!  These 24/7 workers weave through all your muscles and fascia as they do their job.  Injuries, genetic tendencies and habitual ways we move can adversely affect these tender filaments.  They can become tethered in the surrounding tissue creating common problems like sciatica, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel.  In fact, any place there is pain will include subtle nerve tissue binding.  Come learn to free up muscle and fascia using foam rollers and balls and then follow up with simple nerve gliding techniques for spine, arms and legs.  You’ll immediately feel the impact of these simple, pleasure-filled exercises on your mat…and in your life.

Yoga Shala
2030 H Street, Sacramento, CA

Tools

Two tools for participation; bring your own or borrow in class for trial and/or purchase.

  • 1 foot or 3 foot foam roller: when it comes to myofascial release, using correct density, so important.  Bring your own if you have one. Four densities that are the shorter version of 1 foot will be available for you to try.

  • Double bagged tennis balls: to go deeper and access the sticky soft tissue next to full spine, enmeshed in organ body, deep in hip, below knee and between shoulder and hand. Plenty to share!

Frustration is such a common experience in our search for healing. So many folks, willing and able to learn how to care for themselves, simply lack skillful guidance.  Or have been turned off by aggressive practices that ignore our unique asymmetries and create increased pain. Bella’s classes forge a welcome bridge to healing.  And since we are drawn to repeat that which is pleasurable and enjoyable, her classes focus on luxuriating in feel-good sensation.

Classes are included with your day pass or over night stay.
